Life update!!! So I’ve realized that I haven’t really updated you guys on the going one of my life in a little while. Let me start with, me and my team are currently working as an extinction of Circuit Riders in Durban, South Africa. Here we will be doing work in three different sections of Durban. We are also working with one other team, and a different leader than Libby. We are working with Rivers, and for our time in South Africa Kait will be serving as our leader.

Our last week in Guat was so sweet. It was debrief, and that meant we stayed in a hostel in Antigua. Our curfew was also later, so is was so fun to explore Antigua at night. I got to spend a lot of time with Sofia, and we went for ice cream almost every night, which was so fun. There was one night we literally ran through Antigua to get some and then be back in time for her bookclub. We also got to explore Hobbitango, which was amazing. I also really enjoyed getting to text with Lili and be able to call her once. We also got to do some really sweet ATL, and handing out of meals.

Saying bye to Reindom was hard, but the harder the goodbye, the sweeter the hello, and I do plan on saying hello again one day. They are actually some of the sweetest people in the world, and the notes they wrote in my Bible, I will cherish forever. I have a bittersweet relationship with Instagram right now, because I love being able to see what they’re up to, but I hate not being there with them.

Travel day was so long and hard, but it went rather smoothly, for the most part. We spent over 24 hours on planes alone, and probably just as long, if not longer in airports. Then several hours on a bus as well. We had three flights, so two layovers, and the two periods of sitting in the airport in the space between arriving at the airport in Guat, and leaving it in South Africa. After arriving in South Africa, we split squad, with the two other girls teams going to somewhere near Cape Town, and the boys going to another country inside of South Africa. I know where they are going, I just can’t spell, so I am unable to accurately tell you where they are.

Here in South Africa we are currently staying at a place that rents out space to lots of different church groups coming to relax, and it hosts lots of parties. In the two days we’ve been here there have been 2~3. We also got to meet some of our hosts today, and try some Durban food, which was really nice. We also are staying like a two minute walk from the beach, and will be staying here until the 26th. Then we move onto our second location. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to serve in this beautiful country, and so glad to get a taste of what life on Circuit Riders is like.

I still need to raise about 20% of my total, as well as money to spend on day to day expenses like toiletries, meals occasionally, and adventures I decide to go on. So I would be ever so grateful if you would be able to partner with me financially or in prayer. Both are super important. If you would like to partner with me in either, please reach out to me, or comment on here, and I will be glad to let you know how you can help.
